Brent Stevens
Satellite/Fiber Systems Engineer

Brent Stevens was raised in an engineering family and gained early experience in construction, installation and
providing technical support in The Staples Center Construction Project. He was later involved as a contractor
to Direct AV, wiring, installing and balancing RF head-ends  as well as installing TVRO systems. Later also in
the Los Angeles area, he specialized in VSAT/VLAT distribution systems for companies such as PDI, Sony,
CBS, Direct AV, HBO, LA Arena Club, the IBB and the Las Vegas Convention Center.

He relocated to Las Vegas where he started working with GWRC and became the uplink operator/NOC supervisor
for Roberts Communications Network. His responsibilities included management of live broadcast network encoding,
modulation, upconversion and transmission.  He also maintained the test equipment and transmission systems.

For the last few years he has been working with GWRC providing installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of
the digital and analog systems related to communications, content provisioning with RF and fiber-optic systems.
He has become a key member of the GWRC’s trade show support team and travels across the country supporting
GWRC’s major shows for NCTA and SCTE.
